Claiming Rules

Rules below are for contests and give-aways that are hosted at the wedding-luv vendor blogs. Please follow the rules set forth below - this will keep things organized and simple for all members as this club grows. (contest info that links to other sites for entering are claimed by the rules set in the linked to contest site)


Remember - these rules are only for contests or give-aways that are hosted right here at club.wedding-luv.com . You may post detailed info and picutures to your vendor wedding-luv blog and link it to another contest site if you choose - then the rules below will not apply.

VENDOR SIDE OF IT - give-away rules:

(in your settings - for email notices you recieve - KEEP THE NOTIFICATION ON for getting email notices when someone comments on your blog -(it's set to "on" by default - please keep it that way) this way you will know right away that you have a blog comment)


1) You will use your Wedding-Luv (WL) Blog specifically for your giveaways and contests. - no other blogging. (This will keep it organized for members to be able to easily view all your current give-aways posted)
if you're not sure how to word your give-away - you can See Victoria's blog at her page to get an idea.
For other blogging that you may like to do, Please use services such as a blogspot/blogger or wordpress etc... to run a regular company blog.

2) Create a new WL blog post with your give-away info - picture, description, links to your website or company blog.

3) Rules for your giveaway - (IE: to claim - member must fan on facebook, follow company blog, twitter about you etc... )

4) Tell how winner will be picked - (first comment wins, or Mulitple comments with winner being picked through Random.org or other)

5) Once winner is known - Vendor will click their profile picture - then message the winner to exchange personal email addresses, using the Private Club Message system on this site. (this is for your safety that you know you're getting email address from actual member who claimed your give-away)

6) Vendor & winner will then exchange EMAIL addresses and Work out all shipping info and any other details by personal emails (off the Wedding-Luv site).


Bride/Groom/Member Side of it - Give-away rules:

1) Find a give-away you want to claim

2) Follow vendor instructions for claiming (IE: fan them on facebook, follow their company blog, twitter about them etc... what ever they set for their claiming rule)

3) Claim your give-away in their vendor blog, if it is part of their rules.

4) Wait for your Vendor to send you a Private Club Message through the message system on this site.

5) Exchange your email addresses- Work out all shipping info and any other details with your vendor through your own personal email. (off the Wedding-Luv site)


YOUR SAFETY - Always be smart about who you are dealing with. Check out their websites and businesses and research who you deal with. For local vendor/winners Please use safety precautions if meeting locally - it's recomended to do so in a public place.

Wedding-Luv is not resposible for any vendor/winner dealings - All information exchanges are between vendor and winner and you do so at your own risk.

Rules may be tweeked or changed if it is deemed needed.
